Welcome to POPtastic! It's a music blog dedicated to 100% pop. The blog was created back in 2006 and was used as a creative outlet to introduce pop artists that was either forgotten or was never well known. However, the blog has since grown substantially and this was due to the work of all of the contributors (past & present) and the support from visitors. Despite the emerging numbers of new pop blogs, POPtastic! will continue to be the main source for pop music, news, reviews, and albums information.

Materials that you will find at POPtastic! will mainly be pop music or pop-oriented songs. Nonetheless, at times, the other contributors and I do post other genres of music (rap, r&b, rock etc…). Here you will find a wide selection of old pop albums, new albums, new singles, special features, rare pop tracks, old hits, and misses (flops).

If you have any questions, comments, want your music to be featured, or from a marketing/promotional team; please feel free to email me. I will gladly post your promotional information; on the front page and will be imbedded on the [PROMO] sub-site.

Avril Lavigne - Alice Underground
Avril is making a comeback, with the release of her new single "Alice Underground" for the movie, Alice In Wonderland. I don't like the song in particular, but I'm assuming that some of you guys like her music. The song itself offers a slightly darker melodic tune compared to her earlier works, so this might be an indication of the sound she's leaning towards for her next album.

Cascada - Pyromania (Radio Edit)
Cascada is back, pretty much out of the blue with the release of their new single, "Pyromania". According to sources, the song is set to be released in the UK sometime in early April 2010.

Play - Famous
Play does not need any introduction for those who were fans of theirs back in the days of sugary pop. They went on an hiatus back in 2005, but now they are back sans two old members, and a new member was added. Anais, Fanny, and Sanne now make up Play.

They filmed a reality show called "Made in Sweden", and the show showcased the girls recording their new single and album. Their album is set to be released April 7, 2010.
